A friend introduced me to this, and I realized instantly what we had been missing! You will NOT be disappointed! We all had charcoal grills[ok] and went to gas for convenience[but reduced flavor]--well friends-buy this and get ready for a taste sensation! Best ever. Some of the posts state this COOKS by the pellets--incorrect. The pellets merely add the great smoke flavor--this cooks by convection-a super hot cooking "pot" [for the pellets] and a fan, all controlled by the electronic thermostat. Easy to start, and once the food is on the grill, DO NOT open the cover---no need to check for flare-ups or burnt items---this will NEVER happen.
